We
run a variety of groups for the young people in our church, our parish
and the surrounding area. The majority of these groups and activities
take place in our dedicated Youth Centre which is just across the road
from our main church building.
SUNDAY GROUPS:
We have the following Sunday morning groups during the 10.00am service:
Pathfinders for young people in school years 7 to 9
After
the 10.00am service (from 11.30am to 12.45pm) we have a Discipleship
Group for young people of college age (school years 10 - 13) where we
chat and eat together, study the Bible and pray for each other.
YOUTH CLUBS:
During the week we have two youth groups:
Pathfinder Club: Tuesdays 7.30-9.00pm - for young people in school years 7 to 9
Friday Club: Fridays 8.00-10.30pm - for young people in school years 10 to 13
Part
way through each of our youth clubs we have a short talk about some
aspect of Christianity. We expect all the young people to listen to the
talks. We feel that these talks are an important part of our work
because these are 'church-run' youth clubs and we believe it is
important that young people have an opportunity to find out more about
what we - the youth leaders, and the church which runs these clubs,
believe.
